The AI Pay Index is calculated from published AI Pay Checklist tool records. Each record can include category, pricing, free-plan status, affiliate-program status, beginner fit, AI Pay Score, income score, automation score, verification confidence, and source dates.
Percentages are rounded to the nearest whole number. Median entry price uses structured starting-price fields only; tools without verified structured pricing are excluded from price calculations rather than guessed.
This September 2026 edition is the baseline. Month-over-month movement will begin once multiple monthly snapshots exist.
